Scott County ARES members conduct a training net

every Monday evening at 7:00 PM on 146.535 mHz simplex.  *

               >  All Stations are Welcome to check in!  <

The Net Control Station (NECOS) states at the beginning of the net, our purpose is to;

         provide training in emergency operation,

         develop Scott County ARES  emergency communications,

         provide fellowship for ARES members, and

        test equipment and procedures.

The net is operated as a directed emergency communications net.  The net operating procedures have been developed to further our goals of accurate, rapid communications.

Everyone interested in emergency communications is welcome to participate in the net.  Listen closely to the directions of the NECOS and check in at the appropriate time.  Come and join the fun!

The NECOS duty rotates among Scott County ARES members to provide a training opportunity.  The NECOS schedule is shown below.

* The first Monday of the month the net is held on the WB0RMK repeater located in Carver.

You will find the repeater at 147.165/765  PL 107.2
